Photo Shoot: 50's style.

I love doing photo shoots! I have been trying to do more to help fill up the pages of my portfolio lately. I like to use a wide variety of models from all different shapes, sizes and skin tones. I believe everyone has a unique type of beauty that they can portray.

Saying that, My little sister was my model for this photo shoot.  After a few days of coaxing she finally gave up and gave into the idea. Nikki is a fantastic model, she's 15, 6'2 and absolutely beautiful. Though she can be a huge pain in my ass most of the time she is one of my favorite people to get all dolled up and photograph.  After helping her with some posing we came up with absolutely stunning shots.

Products Used:
-NYX skin tone primer
-NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk
-Glamour Doll Eyes Sterling Glitz
-Urban Decay 24hr Liner
-Maybelline's Colossal Mascara
-Fit Me Foundation in #120
-Hard Candy Concealer in Light

As for the rest of the eye shadow I used Sephora's Blockbuster 2012 collection. . Basically I used a Mix of a light shimmery gold with multicolored glitter and a champagne shimmer shadow on the lids. A light taupe used to map out the crease area. A rich brown used to define the crease area.

FOTD: Skull.

I've been cruising through makeup artists work on instagram, beautylish and other sources trying to find some inspiration. MAN have I found some amazing and inspirational people! I have even found some people who make me feel like I should just find a new career path cause there is NO WAY I'll EVER be that good... Looking through different makeup looks it made me want to practice my own skills. Especially in detailing. Fine lines, and intricate work is definitely something I need to practice. So I decided why not practice my skulls. I did darken the pictures up a bit just to show the lines and contrasting colors and added a fun little eye to tie it together.

I used all Wolfe Hyrdocolors in this look as well as a translucent finishing powder from ELF.

Man do I love horror movies! All kinds of horror movies. The supernatural has always been one of my favorite genres of horror. Movies dealing with demons and vengeful spirits are fascinating to me. Demonic possession kind of freaks me out though.

Even though these type of movies don't really bother or frighten me any more, I can still remember the first time I watched a demonic movie. The Exorcist..... Man oh Man It terrified me beyond belief not just because it was INTENSELY scary for a 12 year old, but I remotely looked like Reagan at the time.

Anywho I decided to do a demonic type look yesterday. I did black out the eyes for a more dramatic effect. I don't own Sceleras as of yet. so I make do :P  I wanted the blacked out eyes because well I think its rather fitting for a dead evil look. I used Wolfe's Black and White face paint.

EOTD: Crown.

I'm trying out a few new things lately, trying to be more creative. I really love these colors together. :)
