Claw Marks.

Hello lovelies,

By now I'm sure you all are aware of my odd obsession with horror movies. I love them! I grew up watching scary movies in my grandma's living room, in the dark hiding under blankets with my cousin. I remember loving to go to the video stores as a kid and renting the scariest VHS cover I could find. Usually it turned into a terrible gory sex fest but hey, I guess that sparked my love for Troma movies now. :P

One genre of horror movies I love is Werewolves. There are several werewolf movies and shows these days. I usually prefer werewolf movies with actual hand made special effect monsters but there are some CG ones I can handle. (Teen Wolf is my shizz!)  My all time favorite is the Ginger Snaps series. I wanted to do a makeup look in ode to werewolf movies. Now I didn't want to create a full on werewolf because honestly, I'm not THAT good. Not yet atleast. But I did create a werewolf victim.  Enjoy!

Top 10 Craziest Facials.

We all have heard the hype about "At Home Facials." Almost every blogger, beauty advocate, and youtube beauty gurus has talked about it or even made up their own concoction. I personally love natural facials. I like the fact that I know exactly what is being put on my skin. I'm not a big fan of chemicals and side effects. But as I learn about facials and different products used in them, I've learned some ingredients are extremely odd and a little gross. I have for you today, the top 10 craziest facials.

10.  Bird Poop Facials.

Droppings from the Nightingale, combined with bran and other ingredients help create this lovely facials with prices starting around $180 an hour. The Geisha Facial as it is commonly known by was once used in powder form by geishas to remove makeup and bring luster back into their cheeks. Now celebrities like Tom Cruise and David and Victoria Beckham line up for this lovely facial.

Now Nightingales are not sitting in cages, with their little beaks crammed, the dropping are somewhat sterilized by a UV light. I mean as sterile as poop can get. lol. This facial is supposed to make skin appear bright and radiant as well as clean.

9 The Vampire Facial.

This facial sounds  a bit twilight-like. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian flock to their trusty esthesticans for this facial. Basically an esthetican draws blood and injects it back into your face which will spark production of elastin and collagen. This will give a fuller, youthful glow.

8. Stem Cell Facial.

Known as better-than-botox, this facial goes for a whopping rate of $20,000 a pop. This facial is supposed to give you the Zac Efron/18 again feeling.  Stem cells are injected into your face making you feel like a tween again.  Though this facial has had some negative side affects from women reporting the cells transforming their facial tissue into bone matter. This girl is gonna pass.

7. Beer Facials.

Ugh I hate beer. The smell, the taste; yuck. But beer is very beneficial to the skin. Germany has beer pools where you can swim in a huge pool of beer while they serve you unlimited fresh cold beer. I would love to go. Beer has anti-inflammatory properties as well as promote regeneration and healing attributes. Though do you want to waste a perfectly good cold one?

6. Kitty Litter Mask.

A popular youtube guru vlogged her mask using kitty litter. Turns out your kitty's bathroom sand is actually quite toxic. Sodium Benonite, a clumping agent found in kitty litter can cause lethargy and muscle weakness/spasms. So this is one facial you might want to steer clear of.

5.Sperm Facial.

Now I dunno what's worse new semen cocktails they've created or rubbing jizz on your face. But according to scientists spermine, the active ingredient in sperm helps clear zits and acne, and acts as an anti-aging solution.

4. Breast Milk

Who wants to rub boobie juice on their face?! Come on up! Breast milk is has anti itch properties
as well as soothing properties for acne and eczema. Breast milk also supposedly works great for removing makeup.  I find this one quite creepy especially if you're not expecting nor have a newborn.

3. Snail Secretions.

Remember when it was late at night you went barefoot outside and suddenly felt a slimy squish under your little piggies. Well that squished up snail could've been applied to your face. Why waste right?? :P The secretions of a snail are actually found commonly in famous moisturizers. Michael Todd Cosmetics Anti Aging line is rich with snail secretions. This secretions helps lock in moisture and soothes stretch marks. Recently scientists have found a substance in the secretion that can aid in many skin disorders.

2. Sheep Placenta.

Victoria Beckham is supposedly a big fan of this treatment. Basically a serum is made from lamb chop's afterbirth and slathered on your face to fight the signs of aging. Doesn't sound too appealing to me.

1. Fire Facial.

This is a popular facial in China and Japan. This treatment involves an esthetican applying an alcohol soaked cloth on your face and lighting that sucker up. Now the fire is put out as quick as it is set it still seems a bit sketchy. This treatment is supposed to spark weight loss, combat colds and fight that tired look. The question is, how much do you like your lashes and brows?

FOTD: Fancy Dancy

It's a usual Saturday here; Hot and stormy. Mother Nature must know I dig summer storms! Granted it gets INSANELY muggy, but something about it is just amazing. Speaking of amazing, I previously bought a dress without trying it on first. I know WHO DOES THAT??!! I had gotten home and tried it on only to find it didn't fit. I felt terrible, absolutely terrible but something told me to hold on to it. Well today I pulled it out of the back of my closet and wanted to give it a try. I knew I was going to regret doing so but IT FITS! I freaked out! So I dolled myself in happiness of my newish dress. :P

With this look I used only Glamour Doll Eyes.

Review Time: Makeup Forever Sens' Eyes Makeup Remover

I recently went on a little shopping trip with my cosmo class. Yes I said it a SHOPPING TRIP!! We took an overly basic makeup class in our local Sephora and got $50 in free makeup. Now most of you know 50 bucks at Sephora doesn't stretch very far but I did pick up some AMAZING THINGS. I must confess I am a total fat kid in a candy store when it comes to makeup stores. I run around like that little ADHD 5 year old you see running crazy through the store while my friends tend to look like the exhausted, un-amused mother who is contemplating just leaving lol. :P
I wasn't too into taking this makeup class neither was my best friend, She basically wanted me to just do her makeup while they taught. Now I know it sounds mean but at first I wasn't feeling going to the mall 45 minutes out of town without makeup then have a random classmate do my makeup and end up walking around the mall with a "creation" on my face. But in the end it was hilarious and I had so much fun. With that, I did wear a rainbow look to sport and ended up having to remove it, well I have a problem with it staining my lids. The sweetest guy named Larry showed me this remover by Makeup Forever. I instantly fell in love!!! It removed all of my eye makeup with out any pink stains!
Sens'Eyes is made directly for sensitive skin. You barely need a drop to remove it from your eyes and about 3 to remove face makeup. A little goes a LONG way with this. I cannot express how amazing this is! If you find yourself at Sephora I definitely recommend picking this up even if it is the travel size like mine. I promise you will not regret it.

Holy Sh** That's Bright!

Hello lovelies.

How have you all been? I've been fantastic, have I mentioned how much I LOVE summer!!! I'm all about the sun dresses, flip flops, lake days, barbecuing. It's also a big family season for us. Most everyone in my family is a summer baby. It's practically none stop partying over here! One thing I don't really like is the humidity. I feel like I can't wear makeup! I can feel like i can just walk out the door and sweat it off. But I will not let mother nature win this battle. I will wear makeup! :P

Now I know what you're thinking, what's up with your title?? Well that's the first thing that came out of my lovely fiance's mouth when he came home and I couldn't think of a more appropriate name for this look.  I created this look using Sugarpill and Glamour Doll Eyes cosmetics. I wanted to do an intensely bright cut-crease I just wish it would've shown up better on camera. But oh well. Enjoy!
